Our staff members have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.
Through extensive training, certification and dedication, our staff has attained mastery in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to our members. Here are a few of City Health Club's staff members:
Franklin Henry Jr. (Club Director)
As Club Director, Frank keeps things running smoothly. He is a committed and hardworking member of our Management Team. He is dedicated to providing the best service possible to our members at City Health Club. Further, he has instituted numerous changes in procedure that has immensely improved our efficiency. If you have any questions or just want to see a friendly face, talk to Frank!

Marcia Larsen (Instructor)
Marcia hails from Massachusetts where she was very active as a youngster, constantly climbing trees, building tree forts, and dancing. She learned round dancing from her Dad, a square dance caller, and by 7 was doing exhibition dancing with him. She also took ballet, toe, tap, and acrobatics. Marcia, a gymnast and physical education teacher graduate from Ithaca College started teaching dance aerobics in 1980 and has since branched out to include her favorites, step and double step. Marcia always looks forward to teaching both a challenging and fun class for members. Come and join her for fitness and fun! Margery Pask (Yoga/Pilates Instructor)
Margery combines a dancer's delight in the body with a yogi's disciplined awareness. She has been teaching yoga and dance for over 12 years, is skilled in posture analysis and correction, and is an AFAA Certified Yoga and Pilates instructor. She also has a great sense of humor and makes her classes enjoyable as well as instructive.

Adam Bauchner (Instructor)
Adam is a Johhny G. certified Spinning instructor. An avid cyclist, he loves the cycling classes, noting that he goes through as much water in an hour of spinning as he does in two hours on the road. He also loves being able to play awesome music to accompany the ride, and takes pride in his cross-genre mixes. In his spare time, Adam is a fifth grade teacher for Ithaca City Schools.

Maurice Haltom (African Drum/Dance Instructor)
Maurice is a licensed psychotherapist who has studied, practiced, and taught African Dance/Percussion, Qigong, Tai Chi Chuan and Shaolin Kung Fu for 35 years, and has uniquely integrated traditional African and Chinese health/martial arts with contemporary mind-body fitness practices. Maurice is a pioneer at integrating ancient fitness/energy/longevity disciplines with modern psychotherapy. His view is that African Dance and Qigong movements are cathartic, energizing and youth preserving.
